About us
Arch Cottage is conveniently situated near the centre of beautiful Chagford, a unique and ancient stannary town in the foothills of Dartmoor. The cottage is tucked away within the arch, behind double gates in the enclosed flowery courtyard of rose and clematis covered Arch House.
There is a table and chairs on the terrace outside for sunny al fresco breakfasts; (weather permitting, this is Dartmoor!) A stunning Wisteria cascades across the arch and there are many birds to watch in the beautiful flowering shrubs.

The kitchen is extremely well equipped with electric oven and gas hob, fridge, microwave, dish washer and a washing machine and a dryer in the garage. The house is centrally heated and has an electric flame fire for cosy evenings curled up on the two comfy sofas. There is a television and Wi Fi
We welcome children and the cottage is well equipped with stair gate, cot and high chair. Up to two dogs by arrangement but there is a charge of £5 per night, per dog and they are not allowed upstairs .
